The Glasgow Academy seeks an exceptional Rowing Head to lead, develop and drive our highly successful rowing programme.
Our esteemed rowing club has a rich history of producing World Champions and internationalists, consistently achieving national titles and competing at the highest levels. The ideal candidate will have a proven coaching record, delivering high-quality coaching to pupils of all abilities. A British Rowing Coaching Award Level 2/3 is highly desirable.
We are looking for an individual with outstanding communication and organisational skills to motivate staff and pupils alike. The ability to create a comprehensive programme to achieve success at local, domestic and national levels is essential. Working collaboratively with our team of coaching and teaching staff, you will play a vital role in driving the programme forward.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a rowing programme to achieve success at various levels
- Cultivating a positive and motivational team environment
- Maintaining strong relationships with staff, pupils and parents
