Special Educational Needs Learning Assistant

Academics LTD is a leading education provider in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, offering high-quality teaching and learning experiences for pupils with special educational needs. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEND Support Staff member to join our team and provide individualised support to a non-verbal child with autism.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in supporting children with special educational needs and be able to develop and implement effective strategies to meet the needs of our pupil. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to build positive relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to meet the needs of our pupil
- Build positive relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers
- Contribute to the development of the school's SEND policy and practice
Salary: £28,000 per annum (plus benefits)
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs
- Strong background in developing and implementing strategies to meet individual needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
