About the Role

We are seeking a Supportive Learning Partner to join our team of educators in the Rochester area. This exciting role offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the academic and personal growth of students in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support teachers with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring that students receive high-quality education.
  • Work closely with students with Special Educational Needs (SEND) to develop tailored learning plans and promote inclusivity in the classroom.
  • Prepare and maintain learning materials and classroom resources to enhance the learning experience.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to teachers to inform future planning.
  • Foster a positive and respectful learning environment by managing classroom behavior effectively.

Essential Criteria:

  • A strong passion for education and working with children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Prior experience working in a school setting (desirable but not essential).
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
