Job Details: Care Support Assistant, Independent Living

Our Supported Living service provides bespoke round-the-clock care for autistic and/or neurodivergent young people and adults, allowing them to live in their own home.

As a Care Support Assistant, you will work independently and as part of a team to support them at home and out in the community, helping with personal and household tasks, shopping, meal preparation, outings, and accessing medical appointments.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team, who is able to build positive relationships with the individuals in our care.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing personal care and support to individuals in their own homes
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Accompanying individuals on outings and activities
  • Supporting individuals to access medical appointments and other services
  • Working collaboratively with the care team to ensure high-quality care

About You

We are looking for a caring and patient individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. You should have good communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with the individuals in our care.

As a Care Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge, and work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
