Youth Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Youth Care Specialist at our secure children's home in Durham. As a keyworker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to young people aged 10-18 who require intensive support to turn their lives around.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a role model and provide guidance to young people
- Engage and stimulate young people through educational and physical activities
- Administer medication and maintain accurate records
- Provide advocacy and support to young people
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure the well-being of young people
Requirements:
- A passion for care and compassion in practice
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility and enthusiasm to work with young people
