Supporting Adults with Learning Disability

At Thera Trust, we are seeking a compassionate and caring Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities to live the lives they choose. You will empower individuals to develop new skills, provide personal and emotional support, and help them plan and manage their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support individuals with learning disabilities in their daily lives
  • Help develop new skills and interests
  • Provide personal and emotional support
  • Assist with planning and managing individual homes

Requirements:
  • Comfortable with lone working and supporting individuals with mental health needs
  • Compassionate, caring, and confident
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with a high level of motivation
