Job Title: Mental Health Assistant Professional

Salary: £24,071 - £25,674 gross per annum (pro rata)

Job Description:

We are looking for highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Support Workers to join our team at the Dragonfly Unit. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting young people through their mental health journey.

The successful candidate will have experience in the care sector, particularly in mental health. They will be able to work without direct supervision, liaising appropriately with other practitioners in the team, and possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

Main duties of the job include undertaking therapeutic observations of all service users, supporting service users on a 1:1 basis who may require varying levels of support, and taking service users on leave from the unit.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Care Certificate – must be achieved within first 12 weeks of employment
  • NVQ L2/3 H&SC or Diploma L2/3 in H&SC or apprenticeship L2/3 in H&SC or to commence the framework within the first 4 months of employment
  • VRQ L3 in mental health
