Clinical Specialist Community Learning Disability Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Community Learning Disability Nurse to join our team at Sirona care & health CIC. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and their families.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in learning disability nursing and will be able to demonstrate excellent clinical reasoning skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for assessing, treating, and facilitating the management of health needs for individuals with learning disabilities, as well as providing advice and support to other staff members.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage the health needs of individuals with learning disabilities
- Provide specialist advice and support to other staff members
- Develop and maintain expertise in specific clinical areas
- Coordinate the multi-professional team
- Provide training and education to other professionals and carers
- Current NMC registration
- Documented evidence of CPD in accordance with NMC recommendations
- Diploma/degree in LD Community Nursing
- Experience in community settings and LD/Autism/Epilepsy/PWLD
