About the Role

Glasgow City Council is seeking a skilled Pest Control Operative to join our Environmental Health service on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for providing pest control services, including site visits, inspections, and advice to the public and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct site visits and inspections to identify and manage pest control issues.
  2. Provide expert advice to the public, businesses, and other stakeholders on pest control and management.
  3. Investigate complaints and service requests related to pest control.
  4. Liaise with other services and organizations to ensure effective pest control measures.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the pest control or allied industries.
  • A current driving license.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive annual salary of £22,961.
  • 5 hours of contractual overtime per week.
  • A work pattern of Monday to Friday, with weekend standby service provision on a rota basis.
  • Access to a Council van for home-to-work travel.
