**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Control Specialist to join our Mobility Solutions team at Allied Vehicles Group. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in the diagnosis, repair, and servicing of mobility products and equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Diagnose and repair a range of mobility equipment, including scooters, powerchairs, wheelchairs, and other mobility aids.
  • Undertake product servicing in line with manufacturers' guidelines and Allied Vehicles Group's quality standards.
  • Assess and test inbound used products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Document the condition of inbound used products and grade them for resale.
  • Identify products that require repair or should be stripped for parts due to their condition.
  • Use manufacturer-provided tools and software to ensure efficient repair times.
  • Discuss equipment/product issues with customers and provide assistance over the phone.

**Requirements**

  • General electrical/mechanical engineering knowledge.
  • Experience in electrical/mechanical product repairs and maintenance.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
