Job Title: Quality Control Specialist

SGS is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to ensure that our products meet regulatory standards and customer expectations.

Main Purpose of the Role

The Quality Control Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products. Working closely with the Quality Control team, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing various analytical tests and inspections to assess the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory work and data analysis in a timely manner and to a high standard.
  • Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with GLP/GMP and relevant health and safety procedures.
  • Provide regular updates to Study Directors/Scientists/Department Managers regarding the status of ongoing projects and studies.
  • Assist Study Directors/Scientists/Department Managers in investigations and corrective and preventative actions processes.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industry.
  • Ability to develop a high level of technical competence.
  • Good communication skills.

Qualifications

Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline (BSc Hons in biological science).
