About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Technician to join our Mobility Solutions team at Allied Vehicles Group. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our mobility products and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair mobility equipment, including scooters, powerchairs, wheelchairs, and other mobility aids.
  • Undertake product servicing in line with manufacturers' guidelines.
  • Assess and test inbound used products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Document the condition of inbound used products and grade them for resale.
  • Identify products that require repair or should be stripped for parts due to their condition.
  • Use manufacturer-provided tools and software to ensure efficient repair times.
  • Communicate with customers to resolve equipment issues and provide assistance over the phone.
Requirements
  • General electrical and mechanical engineering knowledge.
  • Experience in electrical and mechanical product repairs and maintenance.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
