Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to oversee a single bed residential service in Weymouth, working with challenging behaviours and contributing to a healthy transition into adulthood.

About the Role: Compass Associates is collaborating with a well-established children's specialist care organisation providing therapy-led care. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a single bed service in the Weymouth region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team to deliver high-quality specialist care for children
  • Collaborating with the Responsible Individual to ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards
  • Maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for children
  • Developing and implementing strategies to address challenging behaviours
  • Recruiting and training staff to meet the needs of the service

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., social work, nursing)
  • Level 5 (NVQ) Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children's and Young People's Services or working towards
  • Experience running a therapy-led service or challenging behaviour service
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and standards

Work Details: Monday to Friday, flexible hours depending on the needs of the service.

Location: Weymouth, commutable from surrounding areas.

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
