Mental Health Educator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Education and Care Assistant. In this role, you will work closely with teaching specialists to deliver high-quality education and support to young people with additional needs.
As an ideal candidate, you will have experience working with children and adolescents, and be able to provide emotional support and guidance to help them thrive. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing behavior coping mechanisms that encourage positive choices and self-reflection.
The successful applicant will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the delivery of a comprehensive education program that meets the needs of all students. Key Responsibilities
- To support teaching specialists in delivering high-quality education and support to young people with additional needs.
- To develop and implement behavior coping mechanisms that encourage positive choices and self-reflection.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the delivery of a comprehensive education program that meets the needs of all students.
- To provide emotional support and guidance to young people to help them thrive.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A strong background in education and/or child care.
- Experience working with children and adolescents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- A valid driving license and access to transport.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a range of benefits including paid holiday time, sick leave, and opportunities for professional development.
