About the Role

As a Mental Health Educator with Teaching Personnel, you will be working in a Social, Emotional and Mental Health Provision in Liskeard. The role involves delivering intervention programmes that focus on mental health, collaborating with students, schools, families, and mental health professionals.

The successful candidate will have experience working with young people who have additional needs and resilience to support daily. You will work outside the normal classroom environment, including off-site work, to encourage learning.

You will provide care and support, enabling young people to thrive, and provide academic support for the group or individual you will be working with. Your role will be at the forefront of making a life-changing difference to a group of young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering mental health programmes in classrooms, environmental areas, and community green spaces
  • Working closely with students, schools, families, and mental health professionals
  • Providing care and support to enable young people to thrive

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills
  • Desire to help young people achieve their full potential
  • A full driving license with access to transport
  • Relevant qualifications and training for this role
