Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior midwife to join our Maternity Governance team at Sherwood Forest Hospital NHS Trust. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic midwife to join our team as Clinical Governance Midwife working closely with the Matron for Maternity Governance, the Deputy Head of Midwifery and the other members of the Governance Team playing an integral part in supporting the system-wide maternity quality and safety agenda including NHS Resolution standards and Ockenden actions.

You will take the lead on service and quality improvement in clinical governance and risk management, alongside the wider Governance Team within the Women's and Children's Division, to enable a joint focus on keeping women and babies safe and at the centre of the care provided.
This role demands leadership and influencing skills, specialised knowledge of maternity risk and governance processes, and the ability to collaborate with system-wide partners, supporting the Sherwood Forest Hospital governance structure.
