About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced midwife to join our Maternity Governance team at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Governance Midwife, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on service and quality improvement in clinical governance and risk management
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team across divisions to achieve consistency of practice and high standards of care
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with staff, patients, and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in care delivery

Requirements
  • Registered Midwife with current registration with the NMC
  • Experience in clinical governance and risk management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
