About the Position:

  • Assist children aged 8-18 with EBD and mild LD, promoting their social, emotional, and educational development.
  • Create a nurturing environment, fostering trust and understanding between children, staff, and the wider community.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure comprehensive care and support, adhering to strict safeguarding guidelines.
  • Contribute to a 24-hour, 4-week rolling rota, guaranteeing continuous service delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children during daily activities, such as homework sessions, mealtimes, and leisure pursuits.
  • Maintain accurate records of child progress, incidents, and any notable events.
  • Engage with external agencies, including healthcare professionals and social workers, to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Adhere to established protocols and procedures, prioritizing the safety and well-being of all residents.
