Job Title: Youth Care Manager

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of the residential homes, in compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
  • This role involves leading and mentoring a compassionate care team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • We are seeking an experienced individual to develop and implement tailored care plans for each young person, promoting their well-being and development.
  • The ideal candidate will provide ongoing support and supervision to staff, ensuring the highest standards of care.
  • We encourage young people to participate in therapies, education, and life skill activities, overseen by this role.
  • The position requires monitoring budgets and expenses, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Maintaining high standards in living environments and ensuring all documentation meets statutory requirements is also crucial.
  • This role involves collaborating with internal and external professionals to meet the care needs of young people.
  • Regular audits, including Regulation 44 and Regulation 45, will be conducted.
  • The successful candidate will manage team schedules, monitor training, and provide monthly supervision and annual appraisals.
  • COSHH, Risk Assessments, and Health & Safety procedures will be developed and implemented.
  • Continuous professional development opportunities, as well as attending training and meetings, are essential.
  • This role requires ensuring young people receive high-quality care that helps them integrate into the community.
