Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Home Care Specialist to join our team at SGS Care Ltd. As a key member of our residential childcare staff, you will provide high-quality care and support to vulnerable children in a 3-bed home.

About the Role:

  • Work with children aged 8-18 who require support due to emotional and behavioral difficulties (EBD) and mild learning disabilities (LD).
  • Develop and maintain a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment that promotes the children's physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver exceptional care and achieve positive outcomes for the young people in your care.
  • Contribute to a 4-week rolling rota, ensuring seamless delivery of services.

Requirements:

  • A UK driving license is essential for this role, as you will be required to transport children safely and efficiently.
  • The ability to work flexibly and commit to part-time hours is crucial.
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent is desirable, but not mandatory. We offer support for those seeking to obtain this qualification.
