Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Data Engineer to join our team in Oxford, UK. As a key member of our data science group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance data systems that support our research and development activities.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines to support large scientific data sets.
- Implement efficient algorithms for modelling complex scientific data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions.
- Perform system testing and ensure data quality.
Requirements:
- PhD in one of the physical sciences, computing or mathematics.
- Strong programming skills and experience with large data sets.
- Familiarity with mass spectrometry data and its processing.
