Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Immunology, Molecular Biology, or similar discipline with a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience working with genomics data. Alternatively, an MSc degree with extensive role-specific equivalent research or industrial experience may be considered.

Essential skills include experience with NGS, bioinformatics sequence analysis, and alignment tools, as well as good working knowledge of R and Python. Experience with Linux environments, version control (git), and common data analysis packages and bioinformatics tools is also required.

A strong record of scientific publications and/or contribution to bioinformatics tools in relevant subjects is essential, along with demonstrated ability to closely collaborate with experimental scientists.
