About the Role

The Senior Bioinformatician will be instrumental in conceptualizing and implementing innovative data analysis strategies to advance our client's ERAP1 inhibitor-driven antigen discovery pipeline.

As part of a multidisciplinary scientific team, the successful candidate will analyze extensive proprietary datasets, including immunopeptidomic, transcriptomic, and genomic data, to identify ERAP1 inhibitor-dependent targets for the development of MHC class I therapeutics.

This requires expertise in bioinformatics, machine learning, and statistical modeling, as well as proficiency in R or Python programming.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality analytical pipelines for processing large-scale mass spectrometry data.
  • Perform statistical analysis of immunopeptidomics assays.
  • Conduct peptide assay analysis.
  • Integrate antigen discovery workflows with transcriptomic and genomic data.
  • Leverage external resources to enhance internal workflows.
  • Stay updated on advances in mass spectrometry-based immunopeptidomics.
  • Lead analytical aspects of projects.
  • Provide data-driven insights.
  • Communicate research findings.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. (or equivalent experience) in bioinformatics, immunology, computational biology, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning and multivariate statistical modeling.
  • Expertise in R or Python programming.
  • Extensive experience in large-scale bioinformatics analysis.
  • Proficient in Linux OS and shell scripting.
Additional Information

Please note that the ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of antigen processing, molecular biology, cell biology, or immunology.

A strong communication background and experience working in industrial settings are also desirable.
