Job Summary:
Enara Bio is seeking a highly experienced Scientific Lead to spearhead its mass spectrometry research efforts. Reporting directly to the R&D Director, you will be responsible for leading an established team of scientists and driving innovation in antigen discovery and protein characterisation.

About the Role:
This is a leadership position that requires expertise in mass spectrometry and immunopeptidomics, with a strong track record in the biotech/pharmaceutical sector. You will be expected to drive scientific collaboration, foster innovation, and advance antigen discovery by combining mass spectrometry with multi-omics technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify novel cancer-specific peptide-HLA antigens from genomic dark matter using the immunopeptidomics pipeline.
• Drive scientific collaboration to foster innovation in antigen discovery and protein characterisation.
• Liaise with advisors for external feedback on methods and data.
• Advance antigen discovery by combining mass spectrometry with multi-omics technologies.

Requirements:
• Deep expertise in mass spectrometry and immunopeptidomics with a strong track record in the biotech/pharmaceutical sector.
• Skilled in building/leading teams with a focus on promoting autonomy.
• Proven track record of complex mass-spectrometry project leadership.
• Ability to drive scientific innovation and align team goals with company objectives.
• Complex data analysis and specific software used in mass spectrometry-based proteomics/immunopeptidomics.
• Good data management and infrastructure practices.

Desirable:
• Experience in mass spectrometry-based proteomics analysis for recombinant proteins.
• Experience in cross-functional target discovery projects.
• Experience in working with -omics data for target discovery.
• Experience in biologics drug development in a biotech/pharmaceutical setting.

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary for this position is approximately £90,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
