We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paediatric Nutrition Assistant to join our team at the Oak Lane Clinic in East Finchley, London. The successful candidate will provide administrative support and assist specialist paediatric dietitians in delivering high-quality services to children being tube fed and those receiving specialist infant formulae or oral nutritional supplements.

About the Role

This part-time position is available for 22.5 hours per week and offers a competitive salary of £31,081 to £33,665 per annum, inclusive of HCAS pro rata. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative assistance, supporting clinical activities, and contributing to the delivery of training activities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide administrative support across the paediatric nutrition and dietetic service in Barnet, including home enteral feeding dietitian and an appropriate prescribing dietitian.
  2. Work independently under the supervision of specialist paediatric dietitians to undertake clinical and administrative tasks, responsible for own delegated workload while being flexible to the needs of the service.
  3. Input clinical activity data into relevant IT systems and generate reports as required.
  4. Communicate effectively with clients, carers, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate message taking and clear record keeping.
