We're seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Manager to join our team at The Recruitment Co. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for driving business growth and developing strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain customer business plans to increase sales and drive brand reach
  • Motivate and manage route to market customers to achieve business objectives
  • Deliver on Company KPIs and personal targets through effective commercial negotiations
  • Support the Head of Sales in implementing new business strategies and developing a pool of leads in the region
  • Build productive relationships with customers, ensuring issues are dealt with promptly to maximize opportunities
  • Gather and share competitor insights and market intelligence to leverage every commercial opportunity
  • Manage customer contact strategy using CRM tools for efficient call frequency, journey planning, and account management
  • Balance deals and initiatives to ensure a win-win for the customer and the company, with profit at the heart of every decision
  • Forecast sales and profit for customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain high standards in customer management, showing professionalism in all aspects of account handling

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in FMCG sales with a strong understanding of the industry
  • Knowledge of on-trade customers and how to manage them effectively
  • Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of P&L and Gross Profit
  • Passion for results and a history of business development success, especially in opening new accounts
  • Ability to create and review customer business plans with clear sales and profit objectives
  • Tenacity and determination to achieve business objectives
  • Experience working within a challenger business is a huge plus
  • Presentation, negotiation, and listening skills that make you a standout communicator
  • IT literate with a knack for decision-making and analytics
