Invigorate Recruitment is working with a successful Accountancy Practice in Ripon to recruit a Financial Accountant to assist in the preparation of accounts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and review of Accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies
  • Preparation and review of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for Sole Traders, Individuals and Partnerships
  • Preparation, review and submission of VAT Returns
  • Provision of client-focused support including client meetings
  • Effective communication and liaison between clients, staff and other stakeholders
  • Management of relevant data using database applications

Requirements:

  • ACCA/ICAEW qualified or part qualified or equivalent: qualified by experience min 5 years. QBE also considered
  • Recent and relevant experience in a practice environment Strong knowledge of computerised accounting systems
  • Conscientious, committed and reliable Able to work to tight deadlines without compromising the quality of work
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook as well as accounting and accounts preparation software
