Culinary Operations Specialist

Location: Cambridge, UK

Estimated Salary: £27,375 - £34,250 per annum

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Caterer to manage the food operations at our office in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing breakfast, lunch, and buffet meals, maintaining a clean work environment, and ensuring compliance with health codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare breakfast, lunch, and buffet meals
  • Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and arrange external catering services when necessary
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and high standards of food quality
  • Develop menus, create daily specials, and plan food preparation
  • Manage food costing, inventory, and storage procedures
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety legislation
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fully qualified in food hygiene
  • Class C1 driving license (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
  • Understanding of menu development and recipe techniques
  • Ongoing awareness of culinary trends and dietary requirements
  • Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office experience
