Food Service Coordinator

Location: Cambridge, United Kingdom

Estimated Salary: £28,125 - £35,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Caterer to manage the food service operations at our Cambridge office. This role involves planning and executing breakfast, lunch, and buffet meals, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute meal preparation for breakfast, lunch, and buffets
  • Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and arranging external catering services when necessary
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
  • Develop menus and create daily specials
  • Manage food costing and inventory
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Essential Skills:
  • Fully qualified in food hygiene
  • Class C1 driving license (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
  • Understanding of menu development and recipe techniques
  • Ongoing awareness of culinary trends and dietary requirements
  • Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office experience
