**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to support the development and smooth running of our Fairbite Food Club network in Cambridge. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Fairbite Development Manager to ensure the success of this initiative.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Fairbite Food Club coordinators on operational issues, such as stock needs.
  • Order stock through various routes, including supermarkets, fruit and vegetable suppliers, and FareShare.
  • Research alternative supply chains to ensure value for money.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations at Fairbite Food Club Arbury, including volunteer rota arrangement, training, and stock management.
  • Handle maintenance issues, such as equipment needs or repairs.
  • Ensure Fairbite Food Clubs comply with food safety and health and safety regulations.
  • Perform administrative tasks, like issuing time credits, inputting data, and producing signage.
  • Support Fairbite Food Club sessions alongside volunteers.

Requirements:

  • Strong administrative experience, including budget administration, and ability to multitask.
  • Experience in community work and working with volunteers.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in Zoom/Teams and MS Office software.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full clean driving license and use of car for travel between locations.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
