Job Title: Duty Manager

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Duty Manager with a strong Food & Beverage background to join our dynamic team at Chateau Denmark. Located in the heart of London's vibrant Soho district, Chateau Denmark is a bold and luxurious destination that blends heritage with contemporary flair. Inspired by the spirit of creativity and rebellion, our hotel offers a one-of-a-kind guest experience, combining opulent design, world-class service, and an electric atmosphere.

As a Duty Manager, you'll report directly to the General Manager and Deputy General Manager, working closely with the team to ensure the service meets our high standards. With an eye for detail and a passion for hospitality, you will play a key role in our team, while delivering service with a 'no half measures' attitude.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily breakfast service to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Supervise bar operations, maintaining high standards of service.
  • Coordinate event bookings between the reservation team and the bar, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Identify and implement strategies to increase profit in both mini and maxi bars.
  • Oversee room service operations, ensuring timeliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance service quality.
  • Provide training to the team, fostering skill development and service excellence.
  • Comply with Health & Safety and food safety regulations.
  • Perform regular Duty Manager shifts, representing the leadership team and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a management role within a Food & Beverage environment
  • Experience and knowledge of the Front of House area.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
