Job Title: Duty Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Duty Manager to join our team at Lucy Wong Cocktail Bar. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the venue, managing guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage guest experiences, including handling complaints and resolving issues
  • Ensure compliance with UK licensing, food hygiene, and health and safety legislation
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional service
  • Monitor and control costs, including inventory and labor expenses
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations

Lucy Wong is a luxurious cocktail bar set to open in February 2023. Inspired by the 1957 novel 'The World of Suzie Wong', Lucy Wong is a tribute to the author's title character, Suzie Wong, a Hong Kong Madame. The bar will bring back a decadent timeless glamour to Rathbone Place with decor inspired by Chinese design and cocktails informed by traditional Cantonese cuisine with a contemporary twist.
