Sales and Events Manager – The Depot, N7

The Depot, part of Mosaic Pub and Dining, is seeking an experienced Sales and Events Manager to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be passionate, creative, and highly organized, with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in sales and event management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and respond to customer enquiries
  • Guide and support the Weddings and Events Co-ordinator with reactive sales and organisation
  • Stay in constant communication with organisers and wedding couples throughout the booking process
  • Ensure a smooth running of weddings and events, communicating effectively with the BOH and FOH team
  • Ownership of inbound sales and booking system, maximising sales opportunities
  • Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, clients, partnerships, products, or services
  • Pro-actively drive new and existing relationships with businesses in the area through available sales tools and build a database of key bookers
  • Manage and optimise third parties, working closely with event and wedding agencies
  • Drive marketing and sales strategies in line with site and personal targets
  • Work alongside the Marketing Manager on planning new marketing initiatives to support the venue KPIs
  • Maximise the site's online presence through social media, website SEO, relevant third parties, and Google profile
  • Work to pre-determined pre-booked sales targets as set by the business
  • Reporting to the Operations Manager and CEO, working alongside the General Manager

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role for at least 3 years
  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience with Designmynight / Collins would be preferred but not essential
  • Strong sales skills
  • Ability to develop and implement marketing, sales, and promotional strategies
  • Capable of prioritising own workload and self-motivated
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a wide range of clientele and colleagues
  • Ability to drive the team around you, including the Wedding and Events Coordinator
  • High level of professional presentation with a friendly and welcoming personality

We're looking for someone who is instantly warming to guests, making them feel at home within our site and encouraging them to book again for another time.

Whilst weddings are the primary focus, the role will also include the organising and running of other special events.
