Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at TSG Group. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of key petrol station and forecourt equipment in the Greater Manchester area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, and repair of customer equipment.
  • Install and commission new equipment to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain and enhance customer relationships through excellent communication and service delivery.
  • Produce timely and accurate service reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Ensure all calls are attended promptly and within set Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure all company equipment is properly maintained and in good working order at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with set Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical/Electrical Engineering HNC/HND (equivalent) and/or relevant experience.
  • Technical awareness including:
    • Experience of diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
    • Electronic repairs to Printed Circuit Board (PCB) level.
    • Ability to voltage test AC/DC single and three-phase supplies.
    • Confident in the use of hand tools.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with end customers.
  • Flexible approach with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Understanding of PC hardware, networking, and IT troubleshooting a plus.
