We are partnering with a growing SME freight forwarding business to find a talented Senior Commercial Manager to drive commercial strategy and foster growth in the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the freight forwarding industry.
- Lead the sales team in prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals, providing guidance and support to ensure success.
- Work closely with the operations team to align commercial activities with overall business objectives.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report on commercial performance, making adjustments as necessary.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Strong commercial freight forwarding background with P&L responsibility.
- Comfortable winning business and improving current accounts.
- Able to take a leadership role within the business.
Salary Range: £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
