Job Overview

This is a high-level and strategic sales role that will focus on pulling together NHS Hospitals, NHS Community and Private Healthcare Providers to ensure Abbott Rapid Diagnostics (ARDx) leads in Point of Care provision. The ideal candidate will have significant diagnostics or medical devices industry and sales experience, preferably within the UK healthcare industry, NHS and private healthcare providers.

About the Role

This key position within the team will involve managing the business across a growing division requiring excellent communication, planning, prioritisation and relationship building both internally and externally. Key responsibilities include producing strategic business planning, implementing business strategy to align & partner with the Private Sector & NHS to maximise sales and growth of the portfolio, achieving target and delivering revenues, and proactively working across different levels of stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a degree or higher in Business, Biological Science or related field, have thorough knowledge and experience of the UK healthcare industry, NHS and private healthcare providers, and have achieved profitable growth consistently. They will also be self-starter, possessing flexibility and ability to work under pressure in a fast-changing environment and ambiguous situations, and have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to achieve results through influencing others.
