About the Role

Currie & Brown is seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our Exeter office as an apprentice quantity surveyor. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional results for our clients and contributing to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the production of feasibility cost estimates and undertake measurement and quantification using software solutions.
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and review tender documentation, capturing data for benchmarking and future cost plans.
  • Attend project/client meetings and take minutes, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Contribute to the delivery of professional services to clients in our cost consultancy teams, including recording pricing of variations and project changes.

Requirements

  • Experience using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is desired, but not essential.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, working independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong desire to become a chartered quantity surveyor.
  • A team player with a 'can-do' attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful, and flexible.
  • Proactive approach to learning and working, with a strong commitment to professional development.
