About The Role

Currie & Brown is seeking a talented Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to join our Exeter office. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional construction projects and contributing to our company's mission of providing innovative solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the production of feasibility cost estimates and undertake measurement and quantification using software solutions.
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and review tender documentation, capturing data for benchmarking and future cost plans.
  • Attend project/client meetings, take minutes, and assist in the delivery of professional services to clients in our cost consultancy teams.
  • Record pricing of variations and project changes.
Requirements
  • Experience using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is desired.
  • Ability to adapt, working independently and as part of a team, with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Aptitude to learn and a strong desire to become a chartered quantity surveyor.
  • A team player with a 'can-do' attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful, and flexible.
