About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Helpline Operator to join our team at P3 Charity. As a key member of our Mental Health Helpline, you will provide critical support to individuals in need, working closely with the NHS, Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group, and the Police and Crime Commissioner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer calls from members of the public with concerns about their mental health, providing empathetic and informed support.
  • Assess the level of risk and need, using your expertise to determine the best course of action.
  • Offer advice and guidance, exploring practical solutions and signposting callers to relevant community resources.
  • Provide follow-up support on a planned non-crisis basis, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for callers.
