We are seeking a highly skilled Disability Support Liaison Officer to support the Advisory Teacher for Physical Disability and Complex Medical Needs in meeting the needs of pupils on her caseload.

The role is peripatetic, involving administrative and service support. Close liaison with and supervision from the Advisory Teacher are essential.

Sourcing quotes and processing orders through an online system for specialist equipment are key responsibilities. Organising delivery of equipment from community stores to settings and fitting equipment for students in settings is also crucial.

Distributing risk assessments for all equipment placed in settings is vital. Visiting schools when equipment is reported as faulty or broken and fixing on site or liaising with Community Stores if equipment needs repair are also important tasks.

A fluency in the English language is required, as stipulated by Part 7 of the Immigration Act.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
