**Job Description:** SEN Teaching and Learning Associate

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 2 student with ASD (Autism) at a primary school in Tower Hamlets.

About the School:

  • Friendly and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets.
  • Dedicated staff and resources to support students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the child in accessing the curriculum and managing routines.
  • Implement strategies to support the child's communication, social skills, and emotional development.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to develop the child's individual education plan (IEP).

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with Autism/ASD or other special educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid and up-to-date DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

Estimated Salary: £30,000 per annum, based on experience.
