Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant Required

About the Role
This is a full-time position for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Waltham Forest, East London.
The successful candidate will work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to provide high-quality support to pupils with special educational needs, contributing to a positive learning environment.
Main Duties:
- Supporting pupils with SEND during lessons and activities, adapting to their individual needs.
- Assisting in planning and preparing lessons tailored to individual pupil requirements.
- Recording progress, monitoring data, and reporting to teaching staff and parents as necessary.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils who need extra help.
- Liaising with external agencies, such as speech therapists and educational psychologists, as required.
Key Skills:
- Experience working with pupils with complex needs.
- A patient and empathetic approach to supporting pupils.
- A willingness to learn and develop skills through training and professional development.
Salary and Benefits:
- A competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
