Primary School SEN Support Staff Wanted

Job Description
We are working with a primary school in East London to find an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to create a positive learning environment, supporting pupils with individualized plans and adapting lessons as needed.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with complex needs during lessons and activities outside of class time.
- Assisting in lesson planning to meet individual pupil requirements.
- Monitoring progress, recording data, and reporting to teaching staff and parents as required.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils who need additional help.
- Liaising with external agencies, such as speech therapists and educational psychologists, as needed.
Requirements:
- Desirable qualifications and experience in SEN support, but not essential.
- A patient, empathetic attitude towards working with pupils with complex needs.
- A willingness to undertake further training and professional development.
What We Offer:
- A salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
