Financial Management Leader

We are currently recruiting for a Financial Management Leader to work for our client at their headquarters in an undisclosed location. This is a full-time permanent position with hybrid working options after training.

  1. Coordinate financial performance across the organisation, providing strategic and operational analysis and modelling.
  2. Support the Head of Financial Management and Finance Business Partners in producing annual budgets, forecasts, and management accounts.
  3. Monitor financial plans and investigate variances, providing advice and support for corrective actions.
  4. Collaborate with other Senior Management Accountants in sales invoicing, financial consolidation, and budget reconciliation tasks.
  5. Lead the Financial Management team and contribute to the development of management accountants.
  6. Oversee the team's business support function, including risk and issue management.
  7. Collaborate with stakeholders and external partners to enhance financial support and reporting.

Requirements:

  1. Part Qualified and actively studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA).
  2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in an accountancy environment within industry or the public sector.
  3. Strong Excel skills and experience in using Enterprise Resource systems.
  4. Experience in staff management.
