About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Management Accountant to work for the Civil Nuclear Constabulary at their headquarters in Culham. This is a full-time permanent position with hybrid working after training.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate financial performance across the organization, providing strategic and operational analysis and modelling.
  • Support the Head of Financial Management and Finance Business Partners in producing annual budgets, forecasts, and management accounts.
  • Monitor financial plans and investigate variances, providing advice and support for corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other Senior Management Accountants in sales invoicing, financial consolidation, and budget reconciliation tasks.
  • Lead the Financial Management team and contribute to the development of management accountants.
  • Oversee the team's business support function, including risk and issue management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and external partners to enhance financial support and reporting.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this role is up to £44,618, plus a South Eastern Allowance of £2000.

Requirements:

  • Part Qualified and actively studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an accountancy environment within industry or the public sector.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience in using Enterprise Resource systems.
  • Experience in staff management.
