Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Art and Technology specialist to provide technical support for a busy team of teachers delivering Art & Technology (Art, Food and Design and Technology).

You will be responsible for preparation of resources across all three disciplines – Art, Food Technology and Design and Technology, as well as in-class support where required across all disciplines.

In addition, you will be responsible for displays and support with promotional materials for open days, Arts Week and any external events.

You will also be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the classrooms and prep rooms for Art, Food and Design and Technology, including ensuring health and safety standards are maintained.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in a related field (e.g. art, design, technology)
  • Previous technical experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

An estimated salary range of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum reflects the level of expertise and responsibility associated with this role.
