This Global Insurance Company with a small UK Northamptonshire office employing around 12 staff is seeking a Commercial Insurance Broker/Commercial Renewals Handler to manage Commercial business policy renewals.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for meticulously preparing renewal documentation, conducting precise rating assessments for renewals, and effectively managing the quoting and processing of Mid-Term Adjustments within 30 days of the current renewal expiry date.

You will also be responsible for addressing inquiries from clients, brokers, and Insurers via phone or email, ensuring their concerns are promptly resolved. Additionally, you will create and maintain diaries on our computer system and actively pursue any outstanding information required from clients and brokers.

The ideal candidate will have previously worked within Commercial Insurance with a good understanding of public liability or plant or indemnity Insurance. You will be confident in your communication (verbal and written) skills, analytical skills, and self-motivation. Numeracy skills are also essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Meticulously preparing renewal documentation
  2. Conducting precise rating assessments for renewals
  3. Effectively managing the quoting and processing of Mid-Term Adjustments within 30 days of the current renewal expiry date
  4. Addressing inquiries from clients, brokers, and Insurers via phone or email, ensuring their concerns are promptly resolved
  5. Creating and maintaining diaries on our computer system
  6. Actively pursuing any outstanding information required from clients and brokers
