Job Title: Physical Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Health Specialist to join our team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the improvement of health outcomes for individuals with severe mental illness diagnoses.

In this role, you will support the planning and coordination of physical healthcare needs, including physical examinations and investigations. You will also contribute to the delivery of specialist assessments and evidence-based mental health interventions.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Support the planning and coordination of physical healthcare needs, including physical examinations and investigations.
  2. Contribute to the delivery of specialist assessment and evidence-based mental health interventions.
  3. Complete and/or order necessary investigations, provide treatment and care individually or as part of a team.
  4. Undertake health promotion and prevention activities, educating patients on medication side effects and lifestyle choices.
