About the Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for Project Engineers to join our Radioactive Waste Management and Disposal business. As a valued member of our team, you will work on real projects from Day 1, supporting a diverse range of consultancy projects undertaken for our customers in the UK and overseas.

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary business that delivers a range of projects on behalf of both UK-based and international customers. Our Waste Management, Disposal and Safety Case teams have led the field of research and assessment work related to the safe management and disposal of radioactive waste for over 30 years.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supporting the delivery of single projects and / or larger projects with a value of circa £5M / year.
  2. Monitoring projects to the budgeted margins, effective contract change management and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Preparing and maintaining project documentation including Project Definition Documents, Quality Plans, Schedules and other documents as required.
  4. Preparing specifications and supporting the process of contractor selection and contract placement.
  5. Providing accurate and timely information, data and reports regarding the project status, resourcing levels, activities and performance.
  6. Supporting the development of technical and commercial proposal responses.
