We are seeking a highly motivated Geoscientist/Geological Modeller to join our team in the nuclear focused business. The successful candidate will support our existing business and continued strategic positioning in the radioactive waste management and disposal sectors.
As a Geoscientist/Geological Modeller, you will become an integral part of our team, working alongside geologists, engineering geologists, geochemists, and other experts to develop conceptual models of geological materials. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging and exciting geoscience projects in support of nuclear decommissioning and waste management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Earth Sciences, geotechnical engineering, or engineering geology, with experience in data management systems, data quality assessments, and research activities. You will also have the ability to assist and ultimately lead research activities, manage time and priorities, and work on several varied projects.

Key Responsibilities:- Develop and apply data management systems and undertake data quality assessments.
- Develop conceptual models of geological materials, including engineering aspects relating to hydrogeological and gas pathways.
- Assist and ultimately lead research activities that support nuclear decommissioning and waste management.
- Work on several varied projects, managing time and priorities effectively.
- Qualifications in Earth Sciences, geotechnical engineering, or engineering geology (Master's, preferably a PhD or equivalent).
- Experience in data management systems, data quality assessments, and research activities.
- Ability to assist and ultimately lead research activities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
